"Fuels of the Future" 2024: Presentation of the first session

On 22 January 2024, the 21st International Conference on Renewable Mobility "Fuels of the Future 2024" will open its doors in the CityCube Berlin. Artur Auernhammer, BBE Chairman of the Board, opens the two-day conference. Hartmut Höppner, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport, follows with the first lecture and focuses on the ministry's overall concept "Renewable Fuels" to promote the further development of advanced biofuels and e-fuels. A representative of the EU Commission from the Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport has been asked to speak on behalf of the EU Initiative for Sustainable Mobility. Fit for 55: Are the climate protection targets realistic and achievable from the automotive industry's point of view? Dr. Marcus Bollig from the German Association of the Automotive Industry will address this question. Finally, Niels Anspach, Vice President of the Biofuels Value Chain at BP Europa SE, will speak about the global strategy for defossilising the fuel mix.
